After leaving university with the dream of becoming an architect, I immersed myself in the world of design, although graphic design came later. First teaching myself the skills of cut and sew, creating templates, and repairing old bags, pants, and jackets, I was invited to showcase my inaugural collection of 19 pieces – Kurisu. Simultaneously, I worked at a restaurant, starting as a busboy and eventually ascending to the role of Design Manager at its parent company. Over the past six years, I have led cross-functional teams and managed the entire lifecycle of more than 10 brands. I have now relocated to Vancouver, Canada, to further pursue my passion for making enduring impressions through design. My personal brand reflects clean and minimalistic design, hyper focused on details in which function is beauty.
